Hope: my light.

Hope - she truly is a light in my life and one day, I hope she is a light in other’s lives as well.

I brought Hope into my life after my mom’s passing last November. Visiting her in hospice, and seeing the therapy dogs there was so meaningful. They brought so much comfort to those who were dying, and to those who were visiting their loved ones.

And so, after my mom passed, I made the decision that I wanted to adopt a dog and train it to become a therapy dog that would one day help people through their darkest days.

It’s safe to say that I have been Hope’s first patient ;) I can say first hand that she is amazing. At 6 months old she’s still a little feisty… but… we’re working on that!

I can’t wait to tell you more about how Hope got her name, and how I found her. It has been a journey, and one that I look forward to sharing with you soon.

Blessings and peace,
Jenn.
