Artist Statement

I am an abstract landscape painter working in acrylic and oil.  My process is intuitive; I paint without reference materials or a predetermined outcome, allowing each piece to unfold organically.

I’m drawn to subtle atmospheres—fog and mist, light filtering through cloud, the quiet beauty of rain drifting across the land.

Rather than depicting a specific place, I prefer to suggest one, creating immersive, spacious environments where viewers can linger and discover their own meaning. The longer one remains with the work, the more layers and moods reveal themselves.

In recent years, I have been leading a life shaped by reflection, stillness, and spiritual depth.  My art practice—and the paintings that emerge from it—have become a form of prayer, an offering, and an invitation to pause, notice, and be fully present.

An important part of my practice is sharing the gift of creativity and encouraging others to explore their own unique artistic expression.
