Caretaking is a gift - a bit like Covid!

My Dad on his morning walk.

My Dad on his morning walk.

My Dad is 80 and had a stroke last year. You may know about this already if you are a long-term follower of my Blog.

If you have been a caretaker for a parent or elderly person in your life, you will most likely agree with me that there is no manual for doing so (kind of like marriage & parenting!!).

What I know from personal experience is that the biggest challenges you face in life end up being the biggest blessings. Being there for my Dad fits this to a “T”.

If you are currently struggling with the gift of caretaking, I’d welcome your email or call if you need to be encouraged. I don’t have all the answers, but empathy can sometimes soothe the soul even better than the right answers.

Blessings & peace and Please Stay Safe!

PS. The featured photo that I picked for this blogpost is one of Murphy & I in the studio taken last year before he passed. I’m getting more creative with my blog, Instagram, website, etc. so sometimes it might seem like the featured image doesn’t relate to the blogpost. Oh well! That’s just going to have to be ok! :) xo
