Biography
Jenn Williamson is an abstract landscape painter based on Vancouver Island, Canada. Working in acrylic and oil, her paintings gain inspiration from years of exploring the mountains, forest trails, marshlands, and ocean landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. Fog, filtered light, and soft transitions often inhabit her work, evoking stillness and reflection.
Her paintings have been exhibited in solo, group, juried, and invitational exhibitions throughout North America. Notable venues include The Reach Gallery Museum, Silk Purse Gallery, Deer Lake Gallery, Foyer Gallery, and McMillan Arts Centre. She has also participated in exhibitions such as the Federation of Canadian Artists Small Works Exhibition, the New York Art Expo, and Harmony Arts Festival.
Jenn’s work is represented by galleries in Canada and the United States and is held in private collections throughout Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
At the heart of her practice is a desire to create spacious, contemplative paintings that offer viewers a place of refuge—an invitation to slow down and quietly listen.
